MSU Distance Education 2024-25: Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) was acccepting online application for the July session 2024-25 until 15 November 2024. A wide range of programs are offered to candidates like UG, PG, PG Diploma, and Certificate through distance education. The selection of any of these distance learning courses is based on the academic qualifications of the candidates. Located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is a public university. The university started offering admission to candidates from the academic year 1990-91. It has been named after the Tamil poet literature Prof. P. Manonmaniam Sundaram Pillai. By the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), the university has secured an A grade. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Distance Education Admission Process 2024

Eligible students will be given admission based on their qualifying marks scored in their previous qualifying examination or an equivalent. Students have to meet all the minimum academic requirements set by the MSU. For the academic session 2024-25, admission is currently ongoing for all distance learning programs. 15 November 2024 was the expected date declared by the students for the submission of an online application. Students can download the application form online by going to the university’s official website. While submitting an application students shall make sure they have paid an application fee of INR 500 through available payment mode.

MS University Distance Education Student Login

Candidates who took admission to any desired course for the session 2024-25 shall make sure they apply for examination application form before the last date. MSU DDE has started taking registration for examination 2024. The last date to apply without the late fine is 6 December 2024. Applicants who fail to apply can submit the form till 10 December 2024 with a late fine. Students can log in using their enrollment number and password. Additionally students have to select the examination center.

MSU UG Admission 2024

Students have multiple options to choose undergraduate courses that include BA, BCom, BLISc, and BSc. These courses are offered through a variety of disciplines such as Tourism Management, Tamil, Mathematics, English, and Chemistry. INR 500 is an application fee required to be deposited at the time of registration. Students who enrolled in any UG program can complete their course in 3 years divided into 6 semesters.  

A basic eligibility requirement to be met by the candidate is to pass an intermediate examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. The last date to submit the online application form was 15 November 2024*. Students will be granted admission after the payment of an admission fee that ranges between INR 4900 to INR 11800. 

MSU PG Admission 2024

For the admission cycle 2024-25, MSU was offering admission till the expected last date of 15 November 2024*. Students seeking admission shall apply to any selected course before the last date. Distance learning programs offered at the university are MA, MCom, MSc, and MLISc covering several specializations such as History, Economics, Mass Communication & Journalism, Physics, etc. 2 years with 4 semesters is the duration required to complete the master’s program. 

Having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an affiliated university/college is mandatory to get admission at MSU. Students have to score a minimum of 40% marks in the UG degree. To get enrolled, students have to deposit INR 500 as a registration fee. The academic fee for all postgraduate level programs lies between INR 6900 and INR 22000. 

MSU PG Diploma Admission 2024

Postgraduate Diploma courses offered by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in specializations such as Renewable Energy Management & Auditing and Pharmacy (Allopathy). Diploma courses last for 1-2 years. Admission to PG diploma program is open for all students, and the last date to apply for admission was expected to be 15 November 2024. 

Merit-based admissions are offered for diploma courses at MSU. Students who want to pursue any specialized PG Diploma course should qualify for a bachelor’s degree in a specific discipline. An average fee structure for PG diploma programs is INR 2000 to INR 9200. A registration fee for applying for a postgraduate diploma program is INR 500. 

MSU Certificate Admission 2024

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University through distance education offers certificate courses in Library & Information Science and Yoga for Human Excellence. This certificate program lasts for 6 months and the university does not conduct semester exams for this academic program. The last date to apply for any certificate program was 15 November 2024. 

A registration fee required for admission in the academic year 2024-25 is INR 500. Students keen to apply for the desired certificate course must pass the 10+2 exam with 45% marks. Admissions are granted to students on a merit basis. The average course fee for the certificate course at MSU distance education is INR 1500 to INR 6800.

MSU Distance Education Eligibility Criteria 

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University offers several academic level courses through distance mode such as Diploma, Postgraduate, and Undergraduate.
