Burdwan University Distance Education Admission 2024: The application form is available for a postgraduate program offered through distance mode at the University of Burdwan. University of Burdwan also known as Burdwan University was established in 1960. It is a public state university situated in Purba Burdwan, West Bengal. The Directorate of Distance Education started by the University of Burdwan was established in the year 1994. DDE offers 6 postgraduate courses including MA and MCom degree. Candidates enrolling at the University of Burdwan for a specialized postgraduate course must keep themselves updated by visiting the university’s official website. DDE Burdwan University has closed its admission procedure for all programs and the deadline to enroll was 15 November 2024. The registration will be completed after depositing an application fee of INR 200. BU DDE BEd Admission 2024

Bachelor of Education (BEd) distance education course is offered at University of Burdwan covering multiple subjects like Hindi, English, Physics, Accounts, Biology, Arts, etc. A BEd distance education course can be completed in 2 years which can be separated in 4 semesters. BEd course academic fee at BU DDE is specified to be INR 25000. 

The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central or state government, whichever is applicable. Candidates who pursued a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a reputed board can apply for this program. Students must have at least two years of full-time teaching experience in a recognized school.

A candidate can apply at the University of Burdwan for a postgraduate program offered through distance mode. MSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, MA in Mathematics and General, and MCom are some of the specialized courses available for the session 2024-25. The enrollment procedure has closed at the university and students can apply until 15 November 2024. 2 years spread across 4 semesters is the duration required to complete the postgraduate program. 

A passed graduate from a recognized university/board in the relevant subject is eligible to apply for admission at BU. Students must secure 40% marks in their last academic qualification. BU DDE MSc Computer Science Admission 2024

University of Burdwan offers Master of Science in Mathematics through distance mode for candidates who hold a degree in Mathematics or in a related field. A candidate must have secured a minimum marks of 50% in BSc Mathematics or equivalent. Admission for the masters degree in this specialization was available and candidates can register themselves till 15 November 2024. 

Postgraduate program can be completed in 2-years which includes 4 semesters. BU DDE sets a common fee structure for MSc Mathematics distance education course to be INR 6500 per annum. 

MA Distance Admission 2024 Burdwan University

Students who want to pursue an MA in any specialization can choose to study at DDE Burdwan University. Master courses offered at the university are MA in Bengali, Computer Science, English, History, Philosophy, and Sanskrit. MA distance education program generally lasts for 3 years with 6 semesters. BU DDE offers both English and Bengali as a medium of examination. 

A candidate shall have to complete a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an authorized university/board. One must score a minimum of 40% marks in their graduation degree.
