AAU Admission for UG 2025-26
Assam Agriculture University provides diverse courses and programs in the area of agriculture and sciences at Undergraduate level. The eligibility criteria vary in courses. Students have to pursue the entrance exam and pass it with good merits to get admission in the university. The entrance exams also differ depending on the desired course.
For example: Students who want to go after courses relevant to animal health need to appear in AAU Veterinary Entrance Test. For remaining courses students have to take the AAU UG Entrance Test.
- B.Sc. (Hons) requires eligibility by passing class 12th with science stream including Biology or Agriculture and have gained a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
- B.F.Sc. requires entry criteria of completing class 12 with Physics, chemistry, Biology or Agriculture with at 50% total marks.
- B.V.Sc. and A.H. needs to pass 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture) as a main subject with minimum aggregate score of 50% which has relaxation of 2.5% marks.

- M.V.Sc. requires eligibility of undergraduate degree in either B.V.Sc. or A.H. degree with the minimum CGPA of 2.60 out of 4.00 which is 2.20 out of 4.00 for SC/St/DAC.
- M.Sc. Communication Services can be pursued by those who have completed their bachelors in B.Sc. (Hons), home science, with at least CGPA of CGPA of 2.60 out of 4.00 scale. (2.20/4.00 for reserved categories).
- M.F.Sc. requires eligibility of completing B.F.Sc. with 2.60 out of 4.00 scale as minimum total CGPA.
