Allahabad University Distance Education Admission 2024-25?: University of Allahabad commonly known as Allahabad University was offering admission for various postgraduate courses through regular mode. Online allotment for some courses like MPA and MVOC closed on 31 August 2024. AU has closed an admission for an undergraduate program offered through CUET UG and PhD program offered through CRET 2024 entrance test. The last date to register for PhD specialized course was 12 August 2024. Candidates interested in seeking admission to any desired course have to appear in several entrance exams such as CUET UG, CRET, and UGAT. Information regarding admission will be available at AU’s official website @allduniv.ac.in. 

Note: As per the guidelines published by UGC-DEB, Allahabad University does not offer admission to any distance learning programs. 

About University: University of Allahabad (AU) is the fourth oldest university in India. It is known as the Oxford of East located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This is a public central university founded in year 1887. AU comes under AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and ACU (Association of Commonwealth Universities). All courses offered through regular mode are recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission). Additionally, a B++ grade has been achieved by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Under QS World University Ranking, this university is ranked between 401-450 position.

AU Distance Education Admission Process 2024

Allahabad University (AU) is currently offering admission for some postgraduate specialized programs and candidates can apply for enrollment until 31 August 2024. Students can enroll either online or offline, whichever is more convenient for them. Candidates shall register themselves by entering detailed information. Selected candidates have to appear in an interview round and document verification. Registration fees of INR 150 to INR 300 are required to be paid by candidates who are eagerly waiting to take admission. A few modes of payment for online registration are UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Online Wallet, and Net Banking. 

AU UG Admission 2024

At University of Allahabad, students can choose to study from different types of undergraduate degrees like BVoc, BCA, and BA. Graduate degree courses cover specializations like Media Studies, Food Processing and Technology, Media Production, Fashion Design and Technology, and Software Development. 3 years divided into 6 semesters is a duration to complete any UG courses. Admission to all UG courses has been closed at AU on 25 August 2024. 

If students want to join any of these UG courses, they should make sure they have a higher secondary qualification in any discipline from a recognized university. A registration fee of INR 150 to INR 300 has to be paid at the time of registration. A specialized UG program fees range from INR 15000 to INR 75000.
