Admission to any program offered through distance education at Bharathidasan University is done through online mode. A bachelor of Arts (BA) covers a variety of specializations like Economics, English, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Tamil, and Tamil Literature. It is a 3-year undergraduate program offered at Bharathidasan University through distance mode. Candidates seeking admission have to pass an MA degree in a related discipline or an equivalent.  

Enrollment for the session 2024-25 has been closed for all undergraduate degree programs. The closing date for admission was 10 November 2024. All specialized BA course fee range for INR 3600. The admission to postgraduate program at Bharathidasan University distance education is to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an UGC approved university. Candidates can choose to study courses like MCom, MSc, MLISc, MA, MBA, and MCA covering several specializations. BDU CDOE MSc Computer Science Admission 2025

Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science is a 2-year postgraduate program which helps students to learn about understanding the relationship between humans, designers, developers, and computers. BDU CDOE course fee for MSc Computer Science range for INR 12800. Students can choose to study either in English or Tamil language.

Bharathidasan University has introduced several initiatives under the NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 guidelines. The 4 year multidisciplinary bachelor program will offer students bachelor’s degrees in research and internship. An ABC (Academic Bank of Credit) shall be introduced which would store the credit scores and digital academic certificates of the students. The “Academic Bank of Credits” (ABC) is an educational digital platform of 12 unique digits created to facilitate students through a formal system of credit recognition, credit accumulation, credit transfers, and credit redemption. To create an ABC ID applicants have to visit the official website of ABC ID or go to the digilocker website or app. The ABC ID stores credit scored by the candidate in their academic years. The university has introduced the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) method to offer semester based examinations and students will be offered credit scores after the completion of the program. To generate the ABC ID students shall follow the simple steps:
