Jain University is a private deemed university situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. It originated from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering (SBMJCE), and was established in the year 1990. The admission window at Jain University distance education has started for all undergraduate programs. The last date to fill out the application is fixed to be 28 February 2025. Students can take admission in multiple UG courses such as BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, and BA. A student can choose to apply in several fields such as Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Tourism & Hospitality, Data Science & Analytics, Logistic Supply Chain, and Accounting & Finance. 

One can take a minimum time span of 3 years to complete any undergraduate program which is spread across 6 semesters. A[plicants are selected for enrollment when they pass an intermediate exam along with a passing marks of 45% from a reputed university. UG course fee at Jain University distance education ranges between INR 19500 to 28000. A registration fee of INR 2500 needs to be paid by an applicant while applying for the desired course. 

Jain University Distance Education PG Admission 

Students have an opportunity to pursue postgraduate programs such as MBA, MCom, MSW, MSc, MA, and MCA at Jain University distance education. These courses are available in various specializations such as Psychology, Political Science, English, Kannanda, Hindi, and Economics. The time span required to complete the PG program is 2 years along with 4 semesters. The university has started offering admission for all PG programs and the deadline is expected to be 28 February 2025. 

The basic eligibility needed to get enrolled at the university is to have a bachelor’s degree in anu discipline from a recognized university or council. A minimum of 50% marks is required to get selected. Jain University distance education has set the PG course fee to be INR 21000 to 32500. Before submitting an application form students have to pay a registration fee of INR 2500.

The eligibility criteria for each program differ from one another. Jain University offers admission to both UG and PG programs for the session 2025-26. • Admission to any UG program is offered to those candidates who have passed an intermediate examination with a minimum of 45% marks. 
• If any student is looking to take admission in a PG program have to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a passing marks of 50%.
• To take admission applicants have to be at least 17 years of age. However, there is no upper age limit.
