Kannur University Distance Education?: Any candidate who desires to obtain admission at the Kannur University for the undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs should compulsorily register online before the closure of registration. Students were suggested to enroll themselves before the deadline of 4 September 2024. Those candidates seeking admission have to appear in an entrance exam, group discussion, and interview. Additionally, the selection for the respective courses is also based on the marks scored in the previous qualifying examination. Candidates who want to pursue any program through regular mode have to fill out the online application form. For the academic year 2024-25, candidates are advised to apply until 4 September 2024. Admission is granted to the candidates based on the marks obtained in the respective entrance examination. After qualifying for an entrance exam students have to appear for an interview and group discussion round. Before submitting an application form students have to pay an application fee that ranges between INR 100 to INR 420. Kannur University UG Admission 2024

Kannur University offers several undergraduate courses covering several disciplines such as Marketing, Co-operation, Political Science, Urdu & Islamic History, Kannada, Malayalam, and many more. Multiple courses that are available for candidates at the university are BA, BCom, and BBA. Undergraduate programs generally last for 3 years with 6 semesters. The maximum duration offered to the candidates to complete the program lasts for 5 years divided into 10 semesters. Admission is open for all bachelor’s courses at Kannur University. Students shall have  applied till the last date of 4 September 2024. 

Candidates who have qualified for higher secondary examinations with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university are eligible to take admission. Additionally, candidates have to appear in an entrance exam and interview round. Students who belong to the general category have to deposit an application fee of INR 420 while INR 100 is fixed for the reserved category. INR 8000 to INR 26000 is the average fee required to be paid as an admission fee for all undergraduate programs. 

Kannur University PG Admission 2024

Kannur University offers various postgraduate programs for students, such as MCom and MA in various disciplines such as accounting & Taxation, Economics, Development Economics, Arabic Language & Literature, and History. The duration for the PG courses is 2 years. Students are offered semester-based examinations. Admission for the PG program was open till 4 September 2024. 

The registration fee for the PG-level program is INR 420. Students belonging to the ST/SC category have to make a payment of INR 100. Students applying for the PG program must enroll through the respective entrance examination. A minimum of 55% marks should be scored by the students in the UG-level courses. The average fee for admission to PG programs is INR 11000 to INR 34000.  

Kannur University Diploma Admission 2024

A few courses offered by Kannur University through diploma level are PGDLD and PGDCP. Some specializations provided in the field of diploma courses are Learning Disability, Counselling Psychology, and Afzal-Ul-Ulama(Preliminary). Applicants who wish to apply for any of specialized diploma courses must have applied before deadline, i.e., 4 September 2024. Generally, candidates can complete diploma courses in 1 year. Kannur University offers semester-based examinations. 

Admission is provided to candidates based on the marks obtained in a qualifying examination. Applicants who have qualified for an intermediate examination from a recognized university can apply for this course. A minimum of 40% marks is required to secure a seat at Kannur University. A total fee for different specializations ranges from INR 15000 to INR 34000 (approx).
