Master of Physical Education Distance Learning Admission 2024: Course Details, Syllabus, & Fee

Master of Physical Education Distance Learning: MPEd also known as (Master of Physical Education) is a 2-year postgraduate specialized program offered through regular mode. Each university offers semester based examination and this course consist of 4 semesters. Main objective of this program is to provide students with opportunities to develop knowledge and practical and theoretical skills to meet their personal and professional goals in fields of physical education and exercise science. Several UGC-approved universities are currently accepting applications for MPEd program for academic session 2024-25.

A candidate can fill out an application form till the expected last date of 30 September 2024. As per university guidelines candidates who have completed their bachelor’s in Physical Education are selected for admission. Additionally, some universities admit students as per their performance in a respective entrance examination. CUET, MAH BPEd CET, BHU BPEd test, ITM NEST, and LPU PET are some entrance exams accepted by universities. Candidates have to pay an MPEd course fee of INR 20000 to INR 130000.

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports science, or a related stream from a university that is recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission). 
• A qualifying mark of 55% is required to get admitted at any university. 
• To get eligible candidates have to appear in an entrance exam and need to clear a cutoff. 
• Some universities may require candidates to have at least 1-year of teaching experience.

Master of Physical Education is a professional course; hence, its fee structure might vary at different universities and colleges, depending on the kind of physical activities that are included in the curriculum of the course along with other factors. However, the basic fee structure for this course ranges from INR 20000 to INR 130000. Students should remember that the mentioned fees might be different at the universities as the course involves more physical activities than theoretical ones.

Step 3: Check information released by a university on its official page regarding admission. 

Step 4: Enter your credentials like phone number, identity proof, and email ID. 

Step 5: Access to application form by entering your candidate ID and password. 

Step 6: Proceed by filling out all segments carefully like academic, contact details, and personal personals. 

Step 7: Following admission prospectus attach all documents required. 

Step 8: Now, pay an application fee as set by a university. 

Step 9: Submit an application form by clicking on the “Submit Button”.
