MG University Kerala Distance Education Admission 2024?: Applications for undergraduate and postgraduate through regular mode is currently been offered at the Mahatma Gandhi University. For online submission of application along with a late fine of INR 2440, is announced to be 30 November 2024 for the academic session 2024-25. Students can enroll themselves on the basis of merit or based on marks obtained in an entrance examination. Mahatma Gandhi University commonly known as MG University was established in the year 1983. It is a state-owned public university located in Kottayam, Kerala. MGU Distance Education Admission Process

MGU UG Admission 2024

Several UG courses offered by the MGU through regular mode are BA in Animation and Graphic Design, Arabic, Audiography and Digital Editing, Chenda, BSc in Aquaculture and Biotechnology, BCom in Travel and Tourism, BTech in Mechanical Engineering, etc. The duration of the UG program is 3 years spread across 6 semesters. 5 years is the maximum duration required to complete the course. The admission for the UG program has already started, and the last date to apply for any course is 30 November 2024 with a late fine of INR 2440. 

The fee for the application form for the UG academic program is INR 500 to INR 1100. MGU offers a UG program based on entrance exams and merit-list based. MGU PG Admission 2024

MGU offers various PG programs for students, such as MA in Animation, Cinema and Television, Music Veena, MSc in ITCC, Bioinformatics, and Food & Industrial Microbiology, MCom in Taxation, E-Commerce, and Finance, MTech in Machine Design, etc. The duration for the PG courses is 2 years with 4 semesters. Admission for the PG program is open till 30 November 2024 and candidates need to pay a late fine of INR 2440. The registration fees for the PG program are INR 500 to INR 1100. 

Students applying for the MBA program must enroll through the CAT, MAT, and XAT entrance examinations. Students who want to pursue MTech must pass the GATE examination. A minimum of 55% marks should be scored by the students in the UG-level courses. The average fee for admission to PG programs is INR 55,000. 

MG University Eligibility Criteria 

No candidates shall be admitted to a desired course unless he/she meets all the basic criteria for admission. Mahatma Gandhi University accepts a variety of entrance exams for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate program. MGU CAT is conducted for admission to most of its postgraduate programs. • A candidate choosing to apply for any UG degree shall make sure they have qualified a senior secondary exam from a reputed board. A minimum aggregate marks of 50% is needed.

• There is no upper and lower age limit for admission to undergraduate programmes. However, the upper age limit for admission through sports quota is 25 years.
