NSOU Distance Education Admission 2025-26: Netaji State Open University (NSOU) offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs through distance education. About NSOU

Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is a state open university that was established in 1997. The university is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. Netaji Subhas Open University is the only State Open University in West Bengal that offers the Postgraduate degree program through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system. NSOU Distance Education Admission Process 2025

Netaji Subhas Open University is currently offering admission to undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate programs through distance education. Students who are eligible to apply for postgraduate programs must apply before the due date as the admission is currently ongoing for the 2025-26 session. The last date to take admission for the PG program is set to be 30 January 2025. The admission is based on the candidate’s merit. Relaxation of marks offered to the reserved category students following the rules of West Bengal government. Students have to make a payment of INR 275 as an application fee to successfully register for the desired course. The university offers some of the payment options like UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Demand Draft, Cheque, and many more. It shall be noted that the application fee paid is non-refundable. 

NSOU Distance Education UG Admission 

Netaji Subhas Open University is all set to start its admission process for all undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025-26. The online application will be released soon by the university. NSOU’s last date to submit the application is expected to be 27 March 2025. Applicants seeking admission have to meet all the basic eligibility criteria. The application fee for all UG programs is INR 275. The duration to complete the UG program is 3 years.

The university accepts those candidates who have passed an intermediate exam with a minimum of 40% marks. The time taken by candidates to complete the Diploma program at NSOU is 1 year. The fee structure set by the university for all diploma programs is INR 4000 to INR 21000.
