OSOU offers various UGC approved undergraduate programs through distance education. For the session 2025-26, students can choose to pursue courses like BA, BBA, and BCom. A variety of disciplines are covered through BA courses which includes Economics, English, Hindi, History, Odia, Political Science, Sanskrit, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Sociology. Students who have passed higher secondary examination in any stream (arts, commerce, or science) with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible to enroll in any undergraduate program.
Students can take a minimum of 3 years to complete their UG program, however, the maximum time offered to the candidates is 5 years. Admission will be offered to candidates once the online portal gets open and applicants can apply until the expected deadline of 31 March 2025. OSOU admission 2025-26 fees for UG programs range between INR 5K to 11K.

OSOU Distance Education Entrance Exam
Odisha State Open University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the academic session 2025-26. Applicants who want to take admission have to qualify all the basic eligibility criteria. OSOU does not accept any entrance exam. Instead, the admission is granted to candidates on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.
