OSOU Distance Education Admission: Odisha State Open University was accepting applications for postgraduate courses for October 2024-25 session. Interested students can enroll themselves online until 10 November 2024. Admission is open for the following programs such as Master of Arts in History, Economics, Political Science, and Public Administration. Students are expected to pay an application fee of INR 500 along with the registration form. Admission is granted on the basis of marks scored in the previous qualifying examination.

OSOU UG Admission 2024

Undergraduate courses offered by Odisha State Open University are BA in Economics, English, Odia, Sanskrit, BCom, BBA, and BJMC. The duration of the UG-level course is 3 years divided into 6 semesters. Admission has been closed for the academic session 2024-25. The registration fee for the UG program for the academic year 2024-25 is INR 500. 

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate courses is to complete 10+2 with minimum marks. The fee structure for undergraduate students at OSOU is INR 5000 to INR 11000 depending on the courses. 

OSOU PG Admission 2024

Postgraduate courses offered at Odisha State Open University are an MSc in Cyber Science, an MA in Rural Development, Economics, and Sanskrit, and MCom. The duration of this course is 2 years with 4 semesters. The admission procedure is open for all programs at the university. OSOU admission procedure closed by 10 November 2024. The registration fee for applying for a post-graduation program is INR 500. 

Merit-based admissions are offered for courses like MCom, MA, MSc, etc. It’s mandatory to complete a UG course in a relevant subject with 50% marks before applying for a PG course. The average fee structure for PG programs is INR 7000 to INR 14400. 

OSOU Diploma Admission 2024

Odisha State Open University offers multiple postgraduate diploma courses for students who want to be admitted, including several specializations such as Management, Cyber Security, Rural Development, Rural Management, Disaster Management,  Media Management, and many others. Admission for the July 2024-25 session was ongoing at the university with the last date set to be 10 November 2024. Eligible students must have a graduation degree in relevant streams. The complete period of the course is 2 years divided into 4 semesters. 

Eligibility criteria may vary depending on the chosen courses. The average course fee for 1 year PG Diploma courses ranges between INR 3200 to INR 9500. 

OSOU Certificate Admission 2024

Communication Skills, Digital Library, e-Commerce, Functional Sanskrit, Geriatric Care, Soft Skill and IT Skill, Research Methodology are some of the specializations offered through Certificate program at Odisha State Open University in distance education. The Certificate program lasts for 1 year, and the university conducts semester exams. 

The last day to apply for any certificate program was 10 November 2024. The average registration fee required for admission in the academic year 2024-25 is INR 500. Students keen to apply for the desired certificate course must pass the 10+2 exam with 45% marks. Admissions are granted to students on a merit basis. The average course fee for the certificate course is INR 2500 to INR 5500.
