Panjab University Distance Education 2024: The enrollment procedure for the academic session 2024-25 started on 15 July 2024 at Panjab University. A candidate seeking admission to any of the distance learning programs can apply till the expected last date of 17 August 2024*. Admission to BEd program for the year 2024-25 was open till 15 October 2024. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, advanced diploma, and certificate courses in a wide range of disciplines. Panjab University Distance Education Admission Process 2024

The admission process at Panjab University through distance mode is entirely based on both online and offline. Students who want to pursue any higher qualification distance learning program can apply through the university’s official website. Students who meet all the basic admission criteria can apply for admission to any selected course. 17 August 2024 was the last date declared by the university for enrolling at PU. Panjab University UG Admission 2024

Students can choose different undergraduate specialized courses at Panjab University through distance education. For the session 2024-25 the university offers BEd, BCom, BLISc, BA in Public Administration, Political Science, History, Mathematics, and Statistics. The duration to complete the bachelor’s program is 3 years with 6 semesters. 17 August 2024 was the admission deadline set by the university for enrollment in any UG-level program. BEd admission will close on 15 October 2024. 

If students want to join any undergraduate program they need to pass a 10+2 examination or an equivalent from a reputed university. INR 1050 needs to be paid by those candidates who wish to register themselves for admission. The academic fees of all undergraduate academic level programs are INR 3800 to INR 26000.

Panjab University PG Admission 2024

Panjab University through distance education offers many PG-level courses students can study after they complete their UG degree. MA in Economics, History, Hindi, Punjabi, and Sociology, MBA, and MCom are academic courses offered through distance education at PU. The duration to complete any postgraduate course at PU is 2 years divided into 4 semesters. 

To get admitted to any of the PG-level courses at Panjab University through distance education, students need to complete a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a recognized university. INR 1050 is a registration fee required to be paid at the time of enrollment. The tuition fee for the PG course from distance education ranges from INR 5500 to INR 38000. 

Panjab University Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must meet all the basic requirements to be admitted to their chosen course at Panjab University. Students shall remember, they can only enroll in one course at a time. Admission to distance education is based entirely on merit. Here are some important points to keep in mind when applying for your course:

• One can seek admission to any UG level program if he/she has passed a higher secondary exam with a passing percentage of 45% from an authorized board. 
• Those who hold a bachelor’s degree in any specialization with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for PG programs. 
• Panjab University does not set any upper age restriction for admission to UG and PG courses.

Step 2: Create an account by registering with your email address, valid ID Proof, name of an applicant, and phone number to generate a login ID and password.

Step 3: Log in with your applicant ID and password. 

Step 4: Read all instructions thoroughly before filling out an application form.

Step 5: Provide your personal information along with details of your previous education in an application.

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including mark sheets and identity proof. 

Step 7: Make sure that the documents attached are in specified size as per the guidelines.

Step 8: Pay an application fee through several payment methods, such as debit/credit card, net banking, NEFT, or UPI.

Step 9: Before submitting, carefully review your form.
