Sri Krishnadevaraya University Distance Education?: Admission portal of Sri Krishnadevarya University will open soon for the academic year 2024-25 offering regular-based programs. Programs offered at the university include undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD covering a wide range of streams. Admission has been closed on the expected date of 25 August 2024. SKU conducts its own entrance exam namely Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). Students have to qualify for the given entrance exam and have to appear in an interview round. Additionally, for some courses admission is granted based on merit. To fill out an online application form students have to go to the SKU’s official page @skuniversity.ac.in.

About University: Founded in the year 1981, Sri Krishnadevarya University is located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. It is a public university. The university has now 5 colleges in total including SKU College of Arts, SKU College of Sciences, SKU College of Engineering and Technology, SKU College of Education, and SKU College of Pharmacy. SKU Distance Education Admission Process 2024

Admission process at the Sri Krishnadevarya University is offered both online and offline. Online registration was open for the academic year 2024-25 at the university and registration closed on the last date of 25 August 2024*. INR 500 shall be deposited at the time of the submission of an online application form. Several modes of payment offered to the candidates are Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, or Net Banking. 

SKU UG Admission 2024

BTech, BCom, BBM, BPEd, etc are bachelor courses offered by Sri Krishnadevarya University through regular mode. These courses are offered in several disciplines, including civil engineering, computer science and engineering, rural development, physical education, and so on. The undergraduate program lasts 3 years with 6 semesters. 

The last day to apply for any UG program at SKU was 25 August 2024. The registration fee required for admission in the academic year 2024-25 is INR 500. Students keen to apply for the desired UG course must pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized university. Admissions are granted to students on a merit basis and marks scored in an entrance examination. The average course fee for the UG course is INR 23000 to INR 45000. 

SKU PG Admission 2024

A 2-year postgraduate program is offered at Sri Krishnadevarya University through regular mode under specializations like Sericulture, Polymer Science, Professional, Constitutional Law, etc. Several courses offered at the university include MTech, MBA, MCA, MPharmacy, MCom, etc. Registration has been started at the university for the July session 2024-25. The deadline for the submission of an application form was set to be 25 August 2024*.

The selection is based on the minimum percentage of marks scored in a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Students have to appear in an entrance exam to get enrolled at the university. INR 500 is an application fee that needs to be paid while submitting an application. The course fee ranges between INR 22000 to INR 56000.

SKU PhD Admission 2024

Sri Krishnadevaraya University offers several PhD specializations some of them include Rural Development & S.W, Polymer Science & Tech, Adult & Continuing Education, USIC & Instrumentation, Bio-Technology(final), Electronics, Management, and many more. PhD programs generally last for 3 years. Maximum duration a student takes to complete this course is 5 years. An expected last date to apply for any specialized PhD course was 25 August 2024. 

Those candidates who want to pursue any doctoral degree from SKU have to pass a master’s degree in a specific discipline. A candidate has to secure a minimum aggregate marks of 55%. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for reserved category candidates for admission into PhD courses. Admission is offered to candidates through the university’s entrance exam. To get enrolled candidates have to make a payment of INR 500 as a registration fee. After getting selected for admission candidates are required to pay a course fee that ranges between INR 26500 to INR 67500.
