Bangalore University Distance Education Admission 2024?: Admission process is going on for postgrdaute programs at Bangalore University for the July 2024-25 session. Applicants enrolling for PG program through regular mode can apply till 13 September 2024 without a late fine. Common Entrance Test (CET) is a university-based entrance test that is conducted for admission to LLM program. Students who want to study any other undergraduate and postgraduate level program have to wait until the admission starts. BU Distance Education Admission Process 

Online application is available for candidates who are eligible to apply for BCA and LLM programs at Bangalore University through distance education. Applicants have to appear in an entrance exam CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the university itself. For some academic courses, students need to score a minimum qualifying marks in their previous examination. Online-based admission is granted to eligible candidates. 13 September 2024 was the  last date to fill application form for postgradaute program. Before applying for admission students have to go through the academic prospectus provided to them. 

BU UG Admission 2024

Undergraduate courses are offered through multiple specializations including Multimedia, Machine Learning, Data Science, Full Stack Development, Mass Communication and Journalism, History, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts. BSc, BCom, LLB, BTech, and BA are some of the undergraduate programs offered at Bangalore University through regular mode. UG-level courses duration generally lasts for 3 years with 6 semesters. A maximum duration to complete the program is 6 years. 

Currently, BU is offering admission for a BCA course covering specializations like Machine Learning, Data Science, and Full Stack Development. An application form closed on 12 August 2024. INR 1500 is a registration fee deposited by candidates at the time of admission. Undergraduate courses fee falls around INR 23000 to INR 68000 annually. 

BU BTech Admission 2024 

For admission to BTech courses, students must fulfill the eligibility criteria of Bangalore University. BTech is a 4-year degree program with various branches in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 

Admission is based on the entrance exam and the counseling process. Bangalore University accepts entrance exams like Karnataka PGCET, GATE, UGC NET/CSIR NET, CAT, MAT, JEE Main, and NATA. The average fee for BTech courses is around INR 1 lakh to 13 lakh. Online registration was closed on 12 August 2024 at BU for the July session 2024-25.

The Bangalore University offers several post-graduation courses in distance education. Students can apply for programs like MA, MSc, MCA, etc; however, these courses are offered in several specializations like Dance or Music, Public Relation & Advertising, Theater Arts, Women Studies, Journalism & Mass communication, Food Technology, Electronic Media, etc. The complete duration of the masters course is 2 years.

Students must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks. The registration fee for all category candidates is INR 1500. Bangalore University has set a course fee for PG courses to be INR 21700 to INR 70000.

• A minimum of 45% marks is needed to enroll in a particular specialized course.
