HPU Distance Education 2024: For the July 2024-25 session, Himachal Pradesh University is accepting registration of eligible students who wish to pursue any distance learning courses. Students can take admitted to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs at the university. Admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses at ICDEOL admission 2024 last date was extended to 15 November 2024. Himachal Pradesh University was established in 1970 as a state government university. It is situated in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh University Distance Education Admission Process 2024

The selection criteria at the Himachal Pradesh University is based on the marks obtained in the previous academic qualification. The online application form is available at the university’s official web portal for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Before submitting the application form students have to deposit the admission fee of INR 500 (non-refundable). Applicants are advised to download or go through the admission prospectus before applying for the chosen course.  

HPU UG Admission 2024

Students applying at Himachal Pradesh University for any degree program have multiple options including BEd, BCom, and BA under several specializations such as Economics, Sanskrit, Political Science, and Sociology. These graduate courses have a duration of 3 years divided into 6 semesters. 15 November 2024 was the deadline declared by the university for all UG programs offered through distance mode. 

It is compulsory for students who have enrolled in a specific UG course through distance mode to pass the 10+2 qualification or an equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognized board or university. The registration fee of INR 500 is needed to be paid at the time of submitting an application fee. The application fee paid at the time of admission is non-refundable. The annual course fee ranges between INR 3400 to INR 5400. 

HPU PG Admission 2024

The time duration to complete the postgraduate level program at HPU ICDEOL is 2 years divided into 4 semesters. Multiple master’s level courses offered through distance mode are MA IN Political Science, Sanskrit, Public Administration, and Music, MJMC, MBA, and MCom. Enrollment in a specific course was open till the last date of 15 November 2024. The students need to fill online application form by visiting the university’s official webpage. 

Those enrolling in any PG program have to hold a degree in bachelor’s in any discipline from a reputed university. An online application fee of INR 500 needs to be paid by using different payment methods such as Credit/Debit Card, UPI, and Net Banking. INR 3300 to INR 18300 is the semester-based fee structure for all postgraduate programs. 

HPU Diploma Admission 2024

Several courses Himachal Pradesh University offers for Diploma degrees under multiple specializations including Yoga studies, Tourist Guide, Data Science, and Computer Application. Courses offered under diploma programs are DYS, DTG, DDS, and DCA. Students who wish to pursue desired courses are suggested to apply before the due date from the official website. The duration of the Diploma courses is 1 year divided into 2 semesters. 

Students who have completed the 10+2 from a recognized university are eligible for admission for the academic year 2024-25. An average one-year fee for various courses is around INR 4000 to INR 12300. A registration fee ranges from INR 500.
