Karnataka University Distance Education?: Candidates who desire to appear in Karnataka University for the July 2024-25 session can apply once the admission to any postgradaute program. The application form is available for students and the deadline to submit the application was 14 September 2024. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD academic program is offered through regular mode at the university. Students who have secured the qualifying marks in state and national level entrance examinations are eligible to be selected for the course they are applying for. Applicants can appear in several entrance examinations like CUET UG/PG, UGC-JRF, NET, GATE, etc. All students are required to read the admission prospectus carefully before applying. About University: Established in the year 1949, Karnataka University is a state university. It is located in Dharwad, Karnataka. However, the university was officially inaugurated in 1950. It is the second oldest university followed by the University of Mysore. The university has 5 colleges that offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of science, arts, law, commerce, and education. The university offers several courses that are recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission). Other statutory bodies that grant approval to Karnataka University are AIU and ACU. An A grade has been accredited to the university by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

Candidates can register through the online registration portal for admission to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs. Candidates who have qualified for state or national-level entrance examination of a specific course are eligible to be selected for the desired course. Karnataka University is inviting candidates to take admission to PG courses through regular mode. All students are needed to deposit the non-refundable registration fee that ranges between INR 100 to INR 500. Admission prospectus is available for candidates at the official website. One should go through the prospectus before filling out an online application form. 14 September 2024 was the last date to enroll in PG selected course. 

Karnataka University UG Admission 2024

A several specialized undergraduate program offered through regular mode at Karnataka University includes BSW, BCom in Corporate Secretaryship, BCA, and BSc in Computer Science. A wide range of disciplines are offered for students including Linguistics, History & Archeology, Economics, Applied Genetics, Social Work, and many others. A bachelor’s degree is generally completed in 3 years with 6 semesters. However, the maximum duration required to complete the course is 5 years. 27 August 2024 was the last date for the submission of an online application.  

Those students who have passed an intermediate examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination are eligible to enroll at Karnataka University. Students who belong to the General, OBC, or EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 500 whereas students belonging to the reserved category are required to pay INR 100. A relaxation is granted to the female candidate and they are required to deposit INR 250. INR 21000 to INR 65000 is the average fee for all undergraduate programs. 

Karnataka University PG Admission 2024

Karnataka University offers numerous master’s courses through regular mode. Some of the courses include an MSc in Electronic Media, Analytical Chemistry, and Applied Genetics, an MA in Kannada, Political Science, and Economics, and an MBA. Several other specializations are offered to the candidates such as Biotechnology, Applied Geology, Mass Communication & Journalism, and Criminology and Forensic Science. Online application forms shall be made available for candidates who want to enroll in any postgraduate program for the admission cycle 2024-25. INR 100 to INR 500 is an application fee that needs to be deposited before the submission of an application. 

14 September 2024 was the deadline set by Karnataka University to get allotted a chosen master’s course. The selection process for postgraduate admission is based on the qualifying marks obtained in a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute. The average academic fee for all specialized courses ranges between INR 24300 to INR 73200.

Step 4: Login to your new account using your student ID and password 

Step 5: Candidates shall be required to fill out all required details like educational, personal, and contact. 

Step 6: A scanned documents like marksheet, identity proof and more shall be uploaded.

Step 7: A registration fee shall be deposited using any mode of payment 

Step 8: Review all details entered carefully before submitting it.
