A public Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) was established in the year 1990. It is located in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and it is a first university to offer Choice-Based Credit System. MSU got separated from Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 1990. Distance mode courses offered at university are recognized by UGC-DEB (University Grant Commission-Distance Education Bureau).  MSU has been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an A grade.

Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Certificate programs are offered in numerous specializations at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Registration to PG programs will be done till an expected date of 18 November 2024. Postgraduate specialized course can be completed in 2 years which is divided into 4 semesters. 

Students applying for any specific PG program have to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute. However, candidates who have studied any degree except BLit. course can pursue MBA program through distance mode. PG registration fee is set to be INR 200. A annual tuition fee for PG program is between INR 3300 to INR 14500. 

MSU Diploma Admission 2024

Applicants can study diploma course in various specializations like Yoga for Human Excellence, Geoinformatics, Groundwater Exploration, and Computer Applications. Candidates can complete diploma courses in 1 year which is spread across 2 semesters. Registration is currently ongoing at MSU and applicants are required to apply before the due date of 18 November 2024*. 

Eligibility criteria for diploma courses may vary from specialization to specialization. Candidates are required to pass a 10+2 qualification or hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to get admission. INR 200 is a registration fee at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Diploma course fee ranges between INR 1800 to INR 7000.
