Eligibility Criteria of TNOU

TNOU Distance Education Registration Fee

For all the programs the fees shall be paid to the Tamil Nadu Open University only through online. However, Demand Drafts will be accepted towards the payment of the registration fee. The registration fee once paid shall not be refunded. So, students are suggested to choose the course wisely. Each course offered at the TNOU requires a registration fee of INR 500. TNOU offers multiple specialized undergraduate programs such as BA, BCom, BLit, BCA, BSW, BSc, and BBA. The examination is based on both semester and non-semester patterns. The postgraduate program offered at TNOU (Tamil Nadu Open University) can be completed in 2 years which is spread over 4 semesters. Students can choose to study in various branches such as Education, Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration, Chemistry, Apparel and Fashion Design, Management, Political Science, Public Administration, Drama and Theatre Studies, etc. The duration required to complete a PhD specialized program is 3 to 5 years. 

The fee for a PhD specialized course at TNOU ranges between INR 22000. The eligibility criteria for admission is to have a master’s degree in any related stream with a minimum passing marks of 55%.
